Construction of road from Bhaliapali to Kultatikira under CMRL in the District of Sambalpur for the year 2023-24
Commencing on 14.09.2023, this project was undertaken under the Chief Minister Rural Infrastructure Development Scheme (CMRL) for the year 2023–24. It aimed to construct a rural road between Bhaliapali and Kultatikira villages in the Sambalpur district. The scope of work included earthwork, laying of granular sub-base and base, and blacktopping. By reducing the isolation of interior tribal areas, the road was intended to provide consistent and reliable access to essential services like schools, markets, and healthcare facilities.
Construction of Road from PWD Road to Rengloi High School via Jarli with Link to Manikmunda Road
This project began on 12.12.2023 and was implemented under the MMSY-TRIP scheme for 2023–24. It aimed to provide a dedicated access route from the PWD road to Rengloi High School through Jarli, with a further link to Manikmunda Road. The construction work included full road development with necessary drainage and safety provisions. The road helped improve access to educational institutions and benefitted local residents by offering a safer, more direct route.
Improvement to Uparmunda-Mahakud-Sado-Phulkusum road from 4/200 km to 9/110 km in the District of Sambalpur under State Plan for the year 2023-24
This project, which started on 13.12.2023, focused on upgrading a rural stretch of road between Uparmunda and Phulkusum in Sambalpur district, covering kilometers 4/200 to 9/110. Carried out under the State Plan for 2023–24, the work involved widening, bituminous resurfacing, and improving drainage systems. It was aimed at easing travel for local residents, improving access to nearby towns, and supporting the movement of agricultural goods and emergency services.
Construction of Road from Nuamura to Odsingh via Haldi and Kalmi under CMRL in the district of Sambalpur for the year 2023-24
Launched on 30.12.2023, this road project was part of the CMRL scheme for 2023–24. It involved constructing a new road linking Nuamura, Haldi, and Odsingh in Sambalpur district. The project included complete road development, from earthwork and pavement layers to drainage and minor structures. This route played a crucial role in connecting remote tribal communities to essential public services and larger transportation networks.
Construction of Road from Bhursipali Chhak to Tileimal via Orampada in the district of Sambalpur for the year 2023-24
Also commenced on 30.12.2023, this project was implemented under the Tribal Rural Infrastructure Project (TRIP) for the year 2023–24. It aimed to build a new road from Bhursipali Chhak to Tileimal via Orampada in Maneswar tahasil. The road provided all-weather connectivity to tribal habitations and included greenfield development, such as base construction, bituminous surfacing, and cross-drainage. It improved transportation, reduced travel times, and helped integrate tribal regions into the mainstream infrastructure grid.
Improvement of Sindurpank-Samasingha road from 0.00 km to 40.373 km in the District of Sambalpur under State Plan for the year 2023-24
Beginning on 29.12.2023, this was one of the most extensive projects, improving over 40 kilometers of rural road between Sindurpank and Samasingha in Sambalpur. Implemented under the State Plan 2023–24, the work involved strengthening the existing road, applying a new bituminous surface, and enhancing drainage systems. The upgraded route significantly improved transportation for numerous villages along its path, reducing travel time, supporting local economies, and enabling year-round access regardless of weather conditions.
